Welcome to Wikiquaria!
The (up-and-coming) comprehensive information source for salt-water aquarium hobbyists.
As a beginner reef tank enthusiast, I have found no comprehensive sources of current, reliable, and unbiased information that I could rely on to support my education. As a beginner, I can't provide the information to you, either. Not much of it anyway. However, since I do have the ability to provide a platform upon which to build such a knowledge base, here it is.
I set this up in June 2011. I selected the MediaWiki software because it seems best suited to this particular purpose, however I have not administered this software before, so please bear with me.
I would like for this to become a comprehensive repository of tutorial and reference information for the salt-water aquarium hobby. Please contribute if you can. I hope many will benefit as a result. If you've contributed to Wikipedia before, you should be ready to go here. It will take a while to establish a consistent framework, but in the end... this could be cool!

P.S. The new logos are thanks to the great folks at CartoonizeMyPet. Yes, there's more than one! I thought about posting them here for all to see, but that would spoil the surprise. Keep your eyes out!
